The MUL CollectionPrivacy policy
- We collect what we need to send your order and, if you ask, our emails: your name, email, phone and shipping address.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use advertising trackers.
- You can unsubscribe at any time, and ask us to see, correct or delete your information.
Who we are
This policy covers themulcollection.com, run by The MUL Collection ("we", "us"). We sell hand block-printed mul cotton travel sets to customers in the United States. Questions about this policy: hello@themulcollection.com.
What we collect

Your card details go straight to Stripe on its secure checkout page. We never receive or store your full card number.
Cookies and local storage
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. Your bag is saved in your own browser (local storage) so it's still there when you come back, and we remember there whether you've closed our sign-up pop-up. You can clear both at any time in your browser settings. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout page to process payments and prevent fraud.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run the shop, and only for that purpose:

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. If the business is ever sold, customer records would pass to the new owner under this same policy.
We do not sell or share your personal information for money or for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used in US state privacy laws.
Emails from us
If you buy from us, we email you about that order. We only send newsletters and offers if you joined our list, or if the law allows us to email past customers. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect straight away. Order emails will still reach you.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal reasons, generally up to seven years. We keep you on our email list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. We delete or anonymise information we no longer need.
How we protect it
The site runs over HTTPS. Order and customer records are kept in our hosting provider's private storage, and only we can see them, behind a password. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care to protect your information and only keep what we need.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you and send you a copy,
- correct anything that's wrong,
- delete your information, unless we have to keep it for legal or tax reasons,
- stop sending you marketing emails.
Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have these rights by law, and we won't treat you differently for using them. Email hello@themulcollection.com and we'll reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, usually by replying from the email address we have on file.
Children
Our shop isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us their details, tell us and we'll delete them.
Where your information is processed
Our service providers may store and process information in the United States and other countries. We take steps to make sure your information is protected wherever it's processed.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll make that clear on the site or by email.
